How do I manage my subscription?
MarketFace subscriptions are managed by Google Play. To view, change, or cancel your subscription:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select MarketFace and choose Cancel, Resume, or change your plan.
If you have a billing issue, please contact Google Play support first. For anything else, email us.
How do I install the Wear OS app?
The Wear OS companion is paired with the phone app.
- Install MarketFace on your Android phone from Google Play.
- Make sure your Wear OS watch is paired with your phone and connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or via the phone).
- On your watch, open the Play Store and search for MarketFace, or open the Play Store on your phone and send the watch app to your paired device.
- Sign in on the phone — your watchlist will sync to the watch.
Why do I need Google Sign-In?
Google Sign-In is used to identify your account so we can:
- Sync your watchlist, portfolio, and alerts between your phone and watch.
- Verify your subscription with Google Play and unlock premium features.
- Restore your data if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
We receive only your basic Google profile (email, name) and a Firebase user identifier. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is MarketFace financial advice?
No. MarketFace provides market information and portfolio tracking tools only. It is not a broker, does not execute trades, and does not provide personalized financial advice or recommendations. Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. You are responsible for any financial decisions you make.
How do I delete my account and data?
See the dedicated account deletion page for the full process. In short: email us at support@[your-domain] from the Google account linked to your MarketFace account, with the subject line MarketFace account deletion request. We will delete your account data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business reasons such as billing records.
Cancelling a subscription on Google Play does not delete your account.
The app is crashing or showing wrong data — what should I do?
Please email us with:
- Your device model and Android (or Wear OS) version.
- The app version (Settings → About).
- What you were doing when it happened, and which symbol/screen was involved.
Crash reports are automatically sent through Firebase Crashlytics, but extra detail from you helps a lot.
