1. Acceptance
By installing or using the MarketFace Android phone app or Wear OS companion app (together, the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Informational use only
The App provides market information, watchlists, portfolio tracking, and related tools for informational and personal use only. Content shown in the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
3. No financial advice
MarketFace does not provide investment, tax, legal, or other financial advice. Nothing in the App constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, currency, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.
4. No brokerage or trade execution
MarketFace is not a broker, dealer, exchange, or trading venue. The App does not execute trades, hold funds or assets, or place orders on your behalf.
5. Market data accuracy
Market data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable. Quotes and other data come from third-party providers and may be subject to interruptions or errors. Do not rely on the App as the sole source of market information.
6. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information shown in the App.
- You agree to use the App in compliance with applicable laws and Google Play policies.
- You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, abuse, or interfere with the App or its backend services.
- You are responsible for keeping your Google account credentials secure.
7. Subscriptions and billing
- Premium features are offered through subscriptions managed by Google Play Billing.
- Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Google Play's terms and your Google account settings.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time from your Google Play account.
- Except where required by law, payments and renewals are non-refundable.

The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Play Billing, and market data providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. MarketFace is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party providers.
9. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, branding, and content created by us, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that could cause harm to MarketFace, our users, or third parties. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MarketFace and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on its content, including any trading or financial losses. The App is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify users in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
